Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is a cornerstone of Gletra's compliance program, ensuring platform integrity, preventing fraud, and meeting regulatory obligations under applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, prepaid payment instrument guidelines, and marketplace operator requirements in India.
This KYC Verification Policy defines who must complete verification, required documentation, verification procedures, data handling practices, and consequences of non-compliance. KYC applies to marketplace sellers, home service providers (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, cleaners, appliance repair technicians), users requesting wallet withdrawals, and accounts flagged by our risk systems.
Gletra uses a combination of automated document verification, government database checks (where available), and manual review by authorized compliance personnel. All KYC data is encrypted, access-controlled, and retained per regulatory requirements detailed in our Data Protection Policy.
Completion of KYC does not guarantee account approval or unlimited transaction access. Gletra reserves the right to request re-verification, enhanced due diligence, or additional documentation at any time based on risk assessment.
